A one-time purchase grants you a personal, lifetime Pro licence for the ControlG apps on macOS, Windows and Android, including future updates. The licence is linked to your ControlG account and supports one active installation per platform. You can release an installation by signing out before moving to a replacement device.
The free trial includes 1,000 built-in-AI rewrites, with a maximum of 1,000 characters per free-trial request. The built-in AI is provided through ControlG's Azure service and is subject to fair-use rate limits. Pro and bring-your-own-key requests are not subject to the free-trial character limit. Use of your own key is governed and billed under that third-party provider's terms. AI output can be incorrect, so review important text before sending it.
Don't use ControlG for unlawful purposes. The activation code is for your own use; reselling or publicly distributing codes is not permitted.
Payments are handled by Paddle as Merchant of Record. Prices are in USD unless otherwise shown. Applicable taxes are collected by Paddle.
ControlG is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Because it works across many apps and third-party AI models, we can't guarantee it works in every field or that every rewrite is correct. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid.
The source code is released under its repository license. These Terms cover the paid apps and activation codes we distribute.
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
